1. Who we are
Wedzy is a wedding planning app for Android and iPhone, with this website at wedzy.online. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account: your email address or Google sign-in, through Firebase Authentication.
- Wedding planning data: names, wedding date, venue, tasks, budget, expenses, guests, vendors and photos you add. This data is stored on your device and, when you are signed in, synced to your account through Google Firebase so you can use it on more than one device.
- Voice assistant: when you use the voice assistant, the text of your command and the planning details it needs are sent to our server and to our AI provider (Anthropic) so that the assistant can suggest changes. We do not keep the text of your commands. We count how many commands you use each month.
- Payments: when you buy a Wedding Pass, our payment partner Razorpay processes the payment. We receive the order ID, amount, payment status and the account the pass belongs to. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank login.
- Device and diagnostics: device model, operating system version, crash reports and basic usage analytics through Firebase.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the app's features and keep your data in sync.
- To activate the Wedding Pass on your account and handle refunds.
- To prevent abuse, fix crashes and improve the app.
- To reply when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.
4. Service providers
We use Google Firebase (sign-in, sync, analytics), Cloudflare (our server), Anthropic (voice assistant) and Razorpay (payments). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS. Each account's data is kept separate, and our server checks your sign-in token on every request.
6. Your choices
- You can view, edit or delete your planning data in the app at any time.
- You can delete your account from the app's settings, or by writing to us. This removes your account and the data synced to it.
- We keep payment records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
7. Children
Wedzy is not intended for anyone under 18.
